Deletter

Delete every one of your own tweets on X from a desktop browser — originals are deleted, retweets are undone. Default is a full wipe. Nothing is posted through our servers. We never ask for your X password.

Deletter generates a bookmarklet / console script that you run on x.com while you are already signed in. By default it deletes all of your tweets it can reach on your profile (Posts and, if you open that tab, Replies). Your retweets are undone / unretweeted, not skipped. It does not skip recent tweets unless you turn that on. “Skipped” means not yours, already gone, you hit Stop, or X rate-limited / errored. By default one run continues for up to 2 hours, auto-scrolling for more tweets (configurable). It waits 3 seconds between actions and pauses ~15 minutes if a limit appears. UI automation can break whenever X changes the site.

What to delete

Default: wipe all of your tweets — delete originals, undo retweets. Optional keep rules are off.

Age filter (optional)

Leave this at All to delete every tweet of yours, including today’s. Only pick a day count if you want to spare newer tweets.

Optional: skip some of your tweets

All off by default. Turn one on only if you want those left on the timeline.

Don’t undo my retweets

Off: unretweet / undo repost. On: leave retweets on your profile.

Skip my replies

Off: delete replies (open the Replies tab on your profile).

Skip pinned tweets

Off: pinned tweets are deleted too.

Skip if text contains (optional)

Empty by default. Comma-separated; matching tweets are skipped.

How long one run continues

Default run: 2 hours (120 min). This value is baked into the script you copy — old pastes keep the old duration.

The script auto-scrolls and keeps going for the full budget (default 2 hours). It only stops early if you press Stop. Use 0 to run until nothing is left (no time cap).

Official X API keys

Optional later — not required.

If you already pay for X API access, tweet deletion still needs a user-context token. Browsers cannot call that API directly (CORS), and Deletter will not proxy your secrets through a server.

The working path today is the in-browser script on your profile timeline. Tweets only. No API keys, no OAuth app, no password field.

Hard limits

Only the account you are signed into. Never anyone else’s tweets.
No following, liking, quoting, or posting. Delete your own tweets only.
No credential capture. If X asks you to log in, do that on X — not here.
Default is a full wipe of your tweets (delete originals, undo retweets). “Skipped” is other people’s posts, missing controls, Stop, or X errors.
Deleted tweets cannot be reliably undone. Always copy a fresh script after deploy or settings changes — look for Deletter · long-run / build lr3-20260926.
